School Board Election

Residents of the Wahpeton Public School District can stop by the District Office, located at 1021 11th St N, to absentee vote for the 2024 School Board Election between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. until June 3, 2024.

Valid Wahpeton Public School District residents may also have an absentee ballot mailed to them by filling out an Absentee Ballot Application SFN 51468 (link below). Return completed Absentee Ballot Application by mail to Wahpeton Public School District, Attn: Keri Wiest, PO Box 10, Wahpeton, ND 58074 or email it to [email protected].  North Dakota law requires voters submit a completed application in a timely manner as to allow the applicant to receive, complete and mail the absent voter’s ballot before the day of the election. 

The 2024 School Board Election will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Wahpeton High School (please use the west entrance).  The polls will open at 11:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.   The purpose of the 2024 School Board Election is to fill three expired terms (two City of Wahpeton and one Rural North).
