District Technology Information

The vision of the Wahpeton Public Schools Information Technology Services Department is to provide a state of the art technology environment designed to ensure maximum learning opportunities for all students so that they may become effective communicators and responsible collaborators who are well prepared to enter the global community as dynamic citizens of our nation and world.

Over the last few years the demands on technology have grown exponentially. We are, therefore, always working to employ the latest tools, processes and procedures to ensure that we can meet the requirements of the latest technology so that we can take advantage of all the benefits it has to offer.

Our most recent improvements include a complete network redesign, computer upgrades, software managements systems, a district-wide wireless network, Microsoft Windows Servers on Dell server hardware and a brand new website.

We currently operate close to 1,500 devices including desktop computers, laptops, IPADS, printers, copiers and interactive projectors throughout our district.  We look forward to the new opportunities this new computing environment will offer our students and staff and we thank you for your support!
