Wahpeton Senior High School provides educational opportunities to students in grades nine through twelve. Students enrolled also have the opportunity to enroll in career and technology classes through the Richland County Career & Technology Center and in college level courses at the North Dakota State College of Science (seniors only). In February of 1996 the voters of the school district passed a $2.5 million bond issue, in part for a 13,500 square foot addition to the building. The new addition consists of six classrooms, a technology center, a health and fitness room and a science lab and is currently being utilized.
