| The oldest of the district's schools. Central Elementary is comprised of four wings, each housing a grade of students. During the summer of 1995 Phase One of a renovation project remodeled the lower east wing of the building. Phase Two of the project renovated the upper east wing and was completed during the summer of 1996. The third and final phase was completed during the summer of 1997. A tour of the building quickly shows that despite the age of the original structure, the improvements have given the school the look of a modern facility which provides for a very warm and safe learning environment for the children of the district. |
